RETURN POLICY
Return & Exchange Process
How to submit a return:
- Go to the Return Portal
- Find your order (By Order Number, Name or Email Address)
- Select items for return
- Submit a return request
- A customer service representative is immediately notified, to contact the vendor for an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization).
- Option to exchange immediately for new items, or shop later with bonus credit
- Send original item(s) back to vendor with return shipping label (label cost deducted from refund or exchange amount).
Made to order & Custom order items
Made to order items from Armac Martin, Croft, Turnstyle, Frank Allart, and others, as marked in the Manufacture Information of the product pages, are non-returnable and ineligible for refund or exchange. If you are unsure if an item is eligible for a return, please contact us prior to purchase.
Return Policy
- Please note that we will not accept any returns outside of the New York Hardware Return process, and any item(s) sent back to vendor without an RMA will be declined and returned back to sender.
- All returns must be delivered to UPS with the provided shipping label for return to vendor, in like new, resalable condition within thirty (30) days of their delivery date as recorded by the original carrier. Items shipped to vendor more than thirty (30) days past their recorded delivery date will be returned to sender and no refund shall be issued.
- All refunds will be issued to the payment method used to purchase the original items being returned.
- All returns must be sent with the supplied return shipping label and packing slip, via UPS and no return will be accepted without a valid vendor RMA
- All items must be packed securely and returned in like new, resalable condition. Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error will not be accepted for return, exchange or refund.
- All returns are subject to a restock fee of up to 35%, depending on the vendor’s restocking fee policy. Each product will list the Restocking Fees under Manufacturer Information on the product page.
- New York Hardware expressly reserves the right to refuse returns that do not fully comply with New York Hardware’s Return Policy and all other applicable polices governing purchases made through NYHardware.com. All nonconforming returns will be returned to sender at a charge to sender of $25 per shipment.
Refunds (if applicable)
Once your returned item(s) has been received by the vendor, you will be notified of it’s delivery. Please allow 5-7 days for vendor inspection and issuance of your refund or store credit. A credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within 5-7 days. If you have not seen a refund within this timeframe, please contact us at returns@nyhardware.com.
Final Sale items (if applicable)
Unfortunately final sale items cannot be returned, exchanged or refunded.
Exchanges (if applicable)
You may initiate an exchange through our Instant Exchange method, where a credit card will be required for a temporary authorization hold, and will be released once the returned items are received. You may also Shop Later with store credit, that will be applied to your account, once you returned items are received by UPS with our return shipping label. If our shipping label is not used, you must wait until the delivery to the vendor and the items are inspected and approved for credit.
Shipping
To return your item(s), we provide a return shipping label, for purposes of convenience and trackability. The shipping label cost will be deducted from any refund or store credit, along with any vendor restocking fees. Shipping costs on the original order are non-refundable.
